Thumbnail of Double Pieced Needlecase
$18.00

Double Pieced Needlecase

A sweet combination of pieced woods for a luxury needle keep. The double needlecase permits sorting of different sizes of sharp quilting or beading needles or perhaps the separation of sharp and blunt needles for canvas workers. These are priced per item. Until we have individual images for each of the three double needlecases, gives us a call and we'll be happy to help you choose and set up an order. Thank you!

Thumbnail of Sweetwoods Ambrosia Maple Presser
$12.00

Sweetwoods Ambrosia Maple Presser

Ambrosia is a sweet name for a beetle that brings the spalting of gray/black into moonshine pale maple. Lightning strikes of dark grain fire through the wood with a spattering of wormholes to show the insect's passage. This recent batch has softer gray stripes in the graining; a little more Zen than Wowza. Although the images have more than one presser to show the variability of the pieces, the price is only for one. Let us choose one for you!

$15.00

Sweetwoods Bloodwood Presser

Bloodwood is an unusual red wood, native to Brazil, which takes well to turning thanks to a satiny density that has pleasant heft in the hand. This exotic is another wood that deepens with time and use, and, like Purpleheart, has a unique color without dye. Although the images have more than one presser to show the variability of the pieces, the price is only for one. Let us choose one for you!

Thumbnail of Sweetwoods Cherry Presser
$12.00

Sweetwoods Cherry Presser

One of the few domestic woods Edward works with is reddish-brown cherry, the dense hardwood from the Northeast of our very own continent. Although it doesn't have the character flairs of more exotic grained woods, the supply is faithful and the color is warm, generous and comforting in its traditional familiarity. Although the images have more than one presser to show the variability of the pieces, the price is only for one. Let us choose one for you!

$12.00

Sweetwoods Marblewood Presser

From the northern coast of South America comes marblewood, a dense wood with a coarse, open grain of tan to stripes of dark brown to black that swirl at nature's whim. The tight bamboo-like cell appearance of the end grain makes this wood one of my favorites. This wood is variable in supply and we can't guarantee to have it in stock year round. Although the images have more than one presser to show the variability of the pieces, the price is only for one. Let us choose one for you!
