Sweetwoods Needlecase, Single Burl This needlecase is short in availability as Edward cuts them from burl, using a light colored oak wood at present. Burl is known for either the wild grain or open gaps in the wood itself. Sometimes a little bit of both! We will try to give you a choice of prominent 'wild grain' or those cool little gaps in tree growth with understated crazy growth . . . otherwise check off what would be your first preference and let us select for you.

Wow, this baby swings wildly in availability depending on what we can find in raw form. Sizes will vary as well as Edward will often finish edges asymmetrically, moving with the flow of the grain in the needlecase although rest assured it will still sit solidly on end. Average size is much like the steady line of single needlecases: 5/8 x 1 x 2-7/8 inches. Nothing appeals just yet in the present images? Do check back and see what surfaces in our ongoing search for more odd wood lumps that we find utterly charming cut into a size small and perfect for your personal delight in needle storage.
