Double Pieced Needlecase
A sweet combination of pieced woods for a luxury needle keep. The double needlecase permits sorting of different sizes of sharp quilting or beading needles or perhaps the separation of sharp and blunt needles for canvas workers. These are priced per item. Sweetwoods Needlecase, Single Bloodwood
An easy favorite, this combination pulls together THREE woods: bloodwood is the larger portion, with a slim sandwich of maple tucked with a side of purpleheart. Bloodwood has sedate graining with a punch of rich red-brown color. Purpleheart is a delicious hardwood that naturally oxidizes a muted red-violet when cut and finished. Sweetwoods Needlecase, Single Bocate
Bocate is an intriguingly grained hardwood of contrast black striping within sandy brown, often with sweeps of diagonal grain and the occasional tight knot. The end grain is striped in a close pattern of dotting (very cool!). Married to light unstained maple hardwood, this needlecase is better than a worry stone, it is so touchable. Although the images have more than one needlecase to show the variability of the finished pieces, the price is for one only. Let us choose one for you!

Sweetwoods Needlecase, Single Burl
This needlecase is short in availability as Edward cuts them from burl, using a light colored oak wood at present. Burl is known for either the wild grain or open gaps in the wood itself. Sometimes a little bit of both! We will try to give you a choice of prominent 'wild grain' or those cool little gaps in tree growth with understated crazy growth . . . otherwise check off what would be your first preference and let us select for you.

Sweetwoods Needlecase, Single Cherry
A well-known hardwood of beloved tradition, American cherry of earthy brown is paired with pale maple. Curious ripple-grained maple (photos do not do this justice!) is selected to marry to warm cherry … this bit of fussiness occasionally puts this variation out of stock until suitable wood is found for a new run of Cherry/Maple needlecases.
